The long-running case between fishing industry billionaire Vitaly Orlov and former business partners Alexander Tugushev and Magnus Roth took yet another turn as the Murmansk Regional Commercial Court rejected Orlov's attempts to fend off their claims against the fishing company Norebo Group.

In December, Orlov submitted his defense to the UK High Court of Justice, where he denied several claims made by Tugushev and Roth.

"The Murmansk Court’s decision to rule against Orlov and Norebo, the most significant taxpayer and employer in the city with considerable influence, emphasizes just how thin Orlov’s attempts to avoid the London courts was," a spokesperson on behalf of Tugushev said.
