Mowi Scotland is seeking a permanent injunction with the Scottish courts against long-time salmon farming opponent Don Staniford.
The salmon farming giant alleges that Staniford "despite repeated requests not to do so, has continued to put himself and the company’s employees and animals at risk."
Most recently, Staniford filmed Mowi's netpens as part of an effort to highlight what he claimed were violations of the group's RSPCA Assured certification.
RSPCA Assured suspended Mowi's certification while it investigated the farms but found no evidence to warrant removal of the certification.
