A land-based barramundi farmer located in Israel's Negev desert has submitted a complaint against Israel-based aquaculture equipment supplier AquaMaof over the suitability of a bass and bream facility the producer alleges was never even completed.

The lawsuit, submitted by the Herzog Fox & Neeman to Israel's Center District Court, states that AquaMaof failed to fulfill its obligations to design, establish and operate for AquaTech, a facility that will allow the cultivation and marketing of approximately 1,925 metric tons of sea bream per year.
