OBI Seafoods workers have filed a class action lawsuit against the Alaska seafood company, "seeking payment of damages resulting from the delay in wage payments" during periods of quarantine.

The lawsuit, which was filed in May in Washington State's King County Superior Court, alleges OBI Seafoods "knowingly and improperly delayed payment of wages for fish processing employees, most or all of whom are foreign citizens on H‐2B visas temporarily working in the United States far from their homes in Latin America, Asia, and Europe."
