Criminally Convicted former Bumble Bee Foods CEO Chris Lischewski will at least be getting his name dropped from a civil lawsuit filed by Kansas-based Associated Wholesale Grocers (AWG), alleging he harmed the company directly through his participation in fixing of canned tuna prices in the US market.
On Tuesday US District Judge Janis Sammartino signed an order stating Lischewski's actions between 2004 and 2015 did not have enough direct connection to the Kansas company to proceed with a lawsuit in which it alleges he directly harmed the company.
