US Department of Justice (DOJ) attorneys are asking a US District Court judge to sentence convicted former Bumble Bee Seafood Foods CEO Chris Lischewski to between eight and 10 years in prison and fine him $1 million (€927,540).
"The guidelines reflect an appropriate sentence for defendant in light of his role in the conspiracy, the conspiracy’s widespread impact on American consumers, and the need for the sentence to deter others from engaging in similar conduct," the DOJ said in court documents filed Wednesday.
