Norwegian salmon farming giant Mowi will compensate111 employees made redundant following the closure of its Pouallaouen facility in France in 2014, the court of appeals of Rennes ruled Oct. 8.
The employees contested Mowi's economic reasons for laying them off, in particular with regard to the significant profits made by the Norwegian group and the takeover at the same time of the Polish giant Morpol, reports the French press.
