New Zealand seafood giant Sanford's online seafood brand has undergone rapid expansion in the shadow of the coronavirus and demand continues, even as lockdowns lift.

"We have pivoted very rapidly further into online retail," Sanford CEO Volker Kuntzsch told IntraFish. "While growth has somewhat tapered, the good demand patterns continue."

The company has also changed its retail approach domestically, offering new options and product lines and changing its packaging to meet consumer demand for fish that is untouched between processing and pan.
