Iceland Seafood International (ISI) had anything but a quiet year in 2020. Eagerly treading the acquisition trail, the company acquired the former Five Star Fish site in Grimsby, UK, in March, where it then merged its Iceland Seafood Barraclough and Havelok businesses.
In August, ISI then signed a letter of intent with the Swedish company Mondi Group to acquire all the issued share capital of Carrs & Sons Seafood Limited Ltd, an Irish seafood processing company specializing in smoked salmon production.
