‘Stars aligned’ for frozen food, but Nomad says reversing seafood’s decline is essential

With a third of Nomad’s business made up of seafood, reversing falling consumption trends is essential, a Nomad executive told IntraFish.

“During the cost of living crisis, we see people downtrading to cheaper categories like chicken, pizza or even potatoes, where they can get more for their money,” Birds Eye UK chief marketing officer Steve Challouma said.
