Fishing gear manufacturer Vonin equipped the new Halstensen Granit-owned factory trawler Granit with a full fishing gear package for shrimp and whitefish.
The vessel, a Skipsteknisk ST-117 design, was built in Turkey and has an 81.20-meter LOA by 16.60-meter beam.
Vonin will provide a pair of Vonin’s 740 mesh Bacalao trawls made with high-strength, low-drag fortis netting for targeting whitefish.
Granit is built to tow three trawls at once.
