The US government will only keep two of the four fishing vessels it seized from New Bedford fishing magnate Carlos Rafael, who is now serving a 48-month prison sentence for falsifying fishing quota, tax evasion and bulk cash smuggling, reports Saving Seafood.

According to the final forfeiture signed by Judge William Young, two vessels, Lady Patricia and Olivia & Rafaela will be forfeited with all their permits, and a total $306,490 (€270,948) fine must be paid to the United States.
