Whitby, UK-based Parkol launched its new 24-meter single and twing-rig trawler, Daystar, for skipper Stephen West of MB Good Design in January.
The vessel was designed by Ian Paton of SC McAllister and Company. Deck machinery was supplies by EK Marine Ltd. and electronics were provided by McMinn Marine.
The contract for the build was signed in December 2014, and work began February 2016.
Parkol Managing Director Jim Morrison praised his team and the partners for helping make it a successful project.
"It has been a pleasure working with Stephen West and his Fishing Agent Graham Taylor from Westward Fishing Company," he said.
"We have a long standing relationship with Westward and are very grateful for their business. We hope that this new vessel is as successful venture for them both.”
