These companies won big in the $2 billion Russia crab quota auction

A total of thirteen companies took a slice of the auction, but none came out better than Russian Fishery Company-linked groups.

There were 41 crab lots at the auction for a total of around 46,000 metric tons of resources per year - slightly less than 50 percent of the country’s overall crab quota.
