Whitefish giant Russian Fishery Company (RFC) is pushing on with plans to increase production of value-added pollock products such as surimi, and diversify its product portfolio, despite a recent change of ownership at the company,

Last month, Gleb Frank, the primary owner and chairman of RFC, sold his 70.09 percent stake in the company the same day his name was added to an updated US sanctions list of Russian businesspeople and government officials.

Frank was included on the US Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control's updated sanctions list, which has steadily added fresh names of Russian oligarchs, businesspeople and government officials.
