Shipyards refuse to service fishing vessels owned by Russian giants, jeopardizing catches and crew

Fishing giants Norebo and the North West Fishing Consortium (SZRK) are among the companies being refused repairs, a severe blow for the fleet.

'It is not about compliance with the sanctions," said Sergey Sennikov, deputy director for international affairs and public communications at Norebo Management Company. 'Such decisions of individual private companies to not render repair and maintenance services to Russian fishing vessels are based on their subjective views on political justice."
