Acquisitions from the year prior continued paying off in 2019 for South Africa-based Sea Harvest, CEO Felix Ratheb told IntraFish, as Viking Fishing shows incredible performance. The company also started the year with another strong acquisition, announcing in February a bid for subsidiary Mareterram, now Sea Harvest Australia.
The company heads into the new year looking for another acquisition in Australia to grow the business. Revenues in the second half of the year reported increase, and Ratheb said the company is now looking to solidify the right business structure following the past few years' growth.
