Samherji appointed Steingrimur H. Petursson as CFO of the company's office in Netherlands, VB reported.
Petursson is coming from the position of director of finance and business development for Hagar, a leading retail company in the Icelandic market. Prior to that, he held the position of director of finance for Icelandic gas station Olis for three years.
He has also been managing director for Eimskip, Sandblaestri and Metallurgy, and Fjoffestingarfelagid Sjofn.
