Samherji co-CEO Bjorgolfur Johannsson has struck back at a new expose written by the international non-governmental organization (NGO), The Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project, accusing it of attempting to "make standard practice seem suspicious".

The lengthy article, entitled “A Fishy Business: Shifting Profits Out of Africa”, is a deep dive into the leaked documents from whistleblower and Samherji's former top executive in charge of Namibian operations, Johannes Stefansson, which were uploaded onto controversial whistleblowing website Wikileaks late last year.
