Turkey's Tersan shipyard has launched the new pelagic supertrawler for Kamchatka-based OkeanRybFlot. The new vessel has fishing and processing capacity to replace three of the fishing giant's current fleet.
The Georgiy Meshcheryakov is based on an ST-191L design developed by Norwegian firm Skipsteknisk for harvesting and processing pollock, herring, mackerel, squid and sardines in the Far Eastern fishing zones.
