Murmansk-based fishing holding FEST, parent of JSC Fenix, JSC Eridan, JSC Strelets and JSC Taurus, ordered two freezer factory trawlers for catching cod and haddock in the Barents and Norwegian Seas.
Both vessels will be built at Pella shipyard, located in a suburb of Saint-Petersburg, and are slated to come into operation between July and September 2020.
Both vessels will be 61 meters long and will feature a processing factory to produce headed and gutted (H&G) and value-added products, including frozen-at-sea fish fillets, Jury Parshev, CEO at FEST, told IntraFish.
