Russian fishing company SZRK, part of the North-West Fishery Consortium, took delivery this month of the Azimut, a new crabber destined for the waters of the Bering Sea.

Marine Engineering Bureau developed the vessel design and the boat was built at Yalova, Turkey-based Ozata Shipyard, according to the website Portnews.com.

The 73.44 meter vessel was designed for fishing, processing and storing king crab and snow crab.

The Azimut can process up to 30 tons of raw snow crab and 60 tons of raw king crab per day.
