Pollock giant Russian Fishery Company (RFC) has signed a long-term cooperation agreement with Russia's Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC) for the construction of 9 of the 11 vessels in its new fishing fleet.

The implementation of the project, which involves a capital investment of RUB 63 billion (€728.3 million/$864.1 million), will create 1,350 new jobs in the Primorsky Territory.

"Thanks to the support of the corporation, the RFC is successfully implementing projects in Primorye that make a significant contribution to the social development of the region, through the creation of new jobs and the provision of additional tax deductions,” said RFC General Director Viktor Litvinenko.
