Russian Fishery Company (RFC) is now able to produce and sell products certified according to the Marine Stewardship Council standard, the company said Wednesday.
The RFC companies were reinstated in the MSC lists after the Arbitration Court of Primorsky Region ruled it illegal to exclude RFC from the Pollock Catchers Association, which is the MSC group certificate owner.
PCA is the client for Russian pollock's Sea of Okhotsk MSC certification, as well as the client for fresh effort to gain MSC certification for the Western Bering Sea region of the Russian pollock fishery.
