The Russian Fishery Company announced it is working on the fourth of 10 new super trawlers, each of which will have around 60,000 metric tons of capacity.

Currently being constructed at Admiralty Shipyards, the company estimates that the first two vessels are around 30 to 40 percent finished.

Installations of equipment and systems are also underway. The hull of the first ship is nearly complete, and the second more than halfway through.

The new fleet will double the company's current fishing capacity and is part of the Russian state investment quotas, with total investment in construction at more than RUB 65 billion ($1 billion/€923 million).
