In March, Russian Crab Group made its first shipment of blue crab to the European Union, following an agreement on trial deliveries reached at the end of last year.
The company also kicked off a pilot project for the supply of king crab to the domestic market.
Russian Crab Group, the country’s largest crab harvesting company in the Far East and second-largest crab quota holder overall, increased its total crab harvest in the first three months of this year by 19 percent year-on-year to reach 2,400 metric tons.
