The International Council for the Exploration of the Seas (ICES) is suspending Russia from the body's activities in the wake of the war in Ukraine.

The ICES Council of Delegates voted to place a temporary suspension on all Russian Federation delegates, members, and experts from participation in ICES activities, it said in a statement.

The suspension will begin on March 30.
