The first in a series of four vessels ordered by Russian fisheries giant Arkhangelsk Trawl Fleet (ATF) is conducting sea trials, marking the first new factory-trawler with a length over 80 meters from a domestic shipyard.
The Barents Sea
The Barents Sea is equipped with a MAN 10L 32/44CR 6000 kW diesel engine and a fishmeal plant with a capacity of 60 metric tons per day delivered by Norway's Amof Fjell Process Technology.
Onboard processing plant capable of processing 160 metric tons of raw materials into 100 metric tons of finished products per day was supplied by Steel-X, also from Norway.
