Altamar Foods Peru, one of the largest exporters of mahi-mahi and seafood products in the country, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with World Wildlife Fund's (WWF) regional office in Peru to support a WWF-led mahi-mahi Fishery Improvement Project (FIP).

“We are very excited to support this FIP,” said Alberto Pescatore, the company's founder and president. “We are continuing to grow our global presence and developing new markets in the Americas and Europe so becoming leaders in the seafood sustainability movement in Peru is naturally the next step for our growing operations.”
