Peruvian fishmeal giant Pesquera Diamante expects sales to grow around 10 percent in 2019, mainly led by a higher sales volumes of both fishmeal and frozen and fresh products for human consumption.

In 2018, the company posted sales of roughly $220 million (€198.6 million).

"This year we expect to end with $240 million (€216.7 million)," CEO Pablo Trapunsky told IntraFish.

Pesquera Diamante began this year with high inventories thanks to "good harvests" in the second fishing season of 2018.
