Peruvian anchovy fishing vessels have so far landed 74 percent of the total allowable catch (TAC) for the first season in the country's north-central waters, according to the International Marine Ingredients Organization (IFFO), which receives industry updates from companies participating in the fishery.

IFFO received data for landings running to Tuesday, June 5.

Last month, Peru's Ministry of Production (Produce) authorized a 2.792 million-metric-ton anchovy quota for the first season of 2022.
