MOGSTERFJORD - a 61.75 x 11.6 metre purse seiner-trawler - has recently been delivered by the Simek shipyard, Norway, to the Norwegian operator Austevoll Havfiske.

The new bulbous bow vessel - which is 55 metres long bp and seven metres deep to her main deck - has been built to a Vik & Sandvik design for hunting pelagic species.

Her fitting-out took just three months from delivery of her hull by the Western Shiprepair yard of Klaipeda, Lithuania.

Mogsterfjord is built to DnV +1A1, Fishing Vessel (S) and Deepsea Fishing II class and she is ready to work in all waters except those with open/scattered drift ice concentrations, or higher, beyond 200 nautical miles from the baseline.
