Nueva Pescanova on Friday launched the freezer trawler Ponta Matirre for its shrimp fishing subsidiary in waters off Mozambique.
It is the second boat the company has launched this year, after not building vessels for more than two decades.
The fisheries and processing group is investing €42.5 million ($47.7 million) to build seven new vessels for fishing fleets in Namibia and Mozambique.
