The Norwegian fishing sector continues to invest heavily in upgrades and newbuilds, and the remainder of this year will see several of those finally delivered.

Norwegian autoline company Seir launched its first new vessel since 1986 last month in Aalesund, marking a major milestone for the 100-year-old group.

The new 53 x 13 meter vessel, also named Seir, was delayed by two months from the Polish yard where it was built, but Chairman Fred Ove Urkedal wasn't bothered.
