Norway to UK: Don't expect better quota deal post-Brexit

If the UK ultimately leaves the European Union -- dubbed 'Brexit' -- Norway may need to renegotiate terms for shared stocks with the country, according to Audun Maraak, managing director of the Norwegian Fishing Vessel Owners’ Association (Fiskebaat).

In some areas, Norwegian and UK fishermen have similar interests that are in direct contrast to other powerful fisheries in the European Union, Maraak told IntraFish sister publication FiskeribladetFiskaren.
