Norway, Faroe Islands agree spring-spawning herring quotas

Both nations have agreed to reduce their shares of the overall quota for 2025.

The Coastal States – a group that, in the case of spring-spawning herring, includes Norway, the Faroe Islands, Iceland, the United Kingdom and Russia – have agreed a total allowable catch of 401,794 metric tons for 2025.
