Murmansk-based fishing holding FEST, parent of JSC Strelets, JSC Taurus and JSC Eridan, is again reportedly for sale, and Vitaly Orlov's Norebo Holding is one of the most likely buyers.

“Indeed, we are considering acquiring FEST,” Sergey Sennikov, deputy director for international affairs and public communications at Norebo, told IntraFish, refusing to reveal any specific information on the acquisition.

Rumors about the possible sale of FEST have been circulating for a long time.

According to the Russian news agency Kommersant, in 2017 fellow whitefish giant Russian Fishery Company (RFC) made a $110 million (€95 million) offer for FEST after Russia’s Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) revealed illegal foreign control over the company.
