Skipper Tor Inge Nilsen was concerned. It was critical that his new Ballstadvaering be an easy boat to work on. So far, he is pleased.
The 24-meter fishing boat was delivered in February. It is the largest boat Skogsoy Baat shipyard in Mandal, Norway, has ever built.
"There is a lot to get into, but it has been a positive experience to get a new boat," said Nilsen.
The new boat is as long as his previous one, but has twice as much volume, with a load capacity of 200 cubic meters.
