The Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) has set its targets: fisheries representing 20 percent of global marine catch engaged in its program by the end of 2020, and 30 percent by 2030.
This year's annual report, which puts a heavy focus on engaging the "global south," however, reveals that up to 73 percent of MSC-labeled products are still coming from the United States and Europe.
