Icelandic fishing giant HB Grandi is in talks with Icelandic fishing firm Utgerdarfelag Reykjavikur, previously known as Brim, for the acquisition of three companies in Asia and a related firm in Iceland.
Utgerdarfelag Reykjaviku -- which holds a 37.96 percent stake in HB Grandi -- will sell its three Asian trading arms, Icelandic Japan, Icelandic Hong Kong, and Icelandic China, as well as its Icelandic subsidiary Seafood Services to HB Grandi by the end of the third quarter of this year.
