CAITHNESS Creels of Wick took on another six men this month to meet the growing demand for their products at a time of strong interest in creel fishing.

Since moving to larger premises nine months ago, MD John Sinclair has been able to increase production, and now the Wick company is producing around 600 creels per week. This increased production capacity meals that Caithness Creels can now pursue new customers and orders.

Caithness Creels have just delivered 1100 22in D section soft-eyed prawn creels to Gordon Bain of Harris.
