France's Piriou shipyard in January delivered three new 21-meter longliners to Navimon as part of the company's fleet renewal. The new vessels are the second part of an initial order placed in October 2017.
Navimon is a subsidiary of Sem Soidil, and is the first ship owner in New Caledonia, said Piriou. It ordered a series of eight 21-meter longliners from Piriou dedicated to tuna fishing in the New Caledonia Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ).

The first two vessels of the series, delivered in November 2018, have been operating for just over a year and are meeting the requirements of the ship owner, the boat builder said.
