Fleet buys trawl doors from Italy

FISHING gear supplier Agalcorde handles a variety of equipment for both high seas and coastal fishing vessels from its base in Agadir.

Managing director Alejando Medina Santana says: "We carry combination rope from Las Palmas, nylon rope up to 60 mm diameter, Kiss wire rope from Korea, and we import netting from Korea, Spain and Portugal as well as making up trawl gear for shrimp and fish."

Agalcorde sells gear in many Moroccan ports, also it has a fish buying division in Laayoune, plus connections in Mauretania, Guinea Bissau and Ghana thorough a sister company.
