Filipino tuna group Century Pacific Food signed deals with three Russian firms -- Magnit Food Retail Chain, Dalimo and LLC Dalpromryba -- to supply tuna and sardine products, reported Inquirer.net.
Century Pacific Foods COO Gregory Banzon said Russia was an attractive market for the company because of its growing and affluent population.
The deal followed accreditation of Century Pacific Foods manufacturing plants, which allow the company to meet Russian retailer requirements.
