Although Europeche welcomed the Sustainable Fisheries Partnership Agreement, under which EU tuna vessels are allowed to fish in Mauritius waters for the next four years, it said the agreement links vessels to regional management policies in Mauritius, missing the opportunity to implement improved and common management measures.
