The European Union will soon send a delegation to Taiwan to assess the progress made in fisheries management in the country since the yellow card was issued in October 2015, reports Taiwan News.

The inspection by the EU delegation could determine whether Taiwan has made enough efforts and improvements to be withdrawn from the EU’s warning list.

The EU issued the yellow card after finding Taiwan was not cooperating in its program for tackling and deterring illegal, unreported, and unregulated (IUU) fishing.
