A court has ruled that the exclusion of the Russian Fishery Company (RFC) from the Pollock Catchers Association (PCA) was illegal, and the company has, as a result, had its membership restored.

The Arbitration Court of Primorsky Region branded the decision of the PCA to exclude six companies of the Russian Fishery Company group as "illegal and void."

This means that the affiliated companies of the Russian Fishery Company are restored as eligible members of PCA and are entitled to carry on using the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) group certificate for pollock catch in The Sea of Okhotsk.
