Several conservation groups are calling for a ban on fishing within three miles of the Scottish coast to boost fish stocks, The Telegraph reported.
This move is backed by Scottish NGO Open Seas, which wants to reinstate a law that was in place between 1889 and 1984 to protect the future of fisheries.
