Northumberland skipper Steven Moss had his traditional Northumberland coble, Border Queen, refitted last winter by the Amble Boat Company, and tells FN he is very pleased with the result.
"Border Queen looks and handles like new following the refurbishment of the coble completed during the winter months.
"I'm delighted with the quality of workmanship, which will go a long way towards ensuring that Border Queen will still be fishing in 20 years time.
"For generations cobles have dominated inshore fishing along the coast of Northumbria, and I have every intention of maintaining this tradition for as long as possible, hence the extensive refit, " says Skipper Moss.
