ICELANDIC boatbuilder Trefjar has delivered two Cleopatra longliners to different companies in the west of Iceland both run by family concerns.

Hrefna (IS-267) and Kristinn (SH-712) are both 11.60 x 3.80 metre boats with longline systems from Beitir for operating with line baited by hand ashore.

At 15 gt, they are designed to fit just below the threshold at the top end of the small boat quota system.

Both Hrefna and Kristinn are built to the same basic pattern, with the wheelhouse and accommodation forward, containing four bunks and cooking facilities, as well as a heated oilskin store.
